Bridge the Gap Campaign
On July 4, 2026, REO Rafting & Yoga Resort was forced to close its doors due to the Brunswick Creek Wildfire, which began approximately 12 kilometres from the resort. While the resort remains standing and is no longer under imminent threat, the impact of losing our busiest weeks of the season has been significant. As a small, family-run seasonal business, July revenue helps sustain our operations throughout the year.
We're asking 5,000 people to spend just $5 to help us through this closure and support our reopening efforts. In return, you'll receive a $50 REO gift certificate to use yourself, gift to a friend, or simply keep as a reminder that you helped our community through a challenging chapter.
Your support will help us bridge the gap and welcome guests back to the Nahatlatch Valley as soon as it's safe to do so.
One $50 Bridge the Gap gift certificate can be used per person on any new booking at REO Resort.

We are Opening August 9, 2026!
After weeks of uncertainty, we finally have some good news... REO is reopening this Sunday, August 9! 🎉
The evacuation order has been lifted, Highway 1 north of Boston Bar has reopened, our staff have returned, and we are so excited to welcome guests back to the resort. The best part? REO is looking absolutely beautiful.
Thanks to the favourable winds that flow down the Nahatlatch Valley, we've been enjoying blue skies, fresh air, and all of the incredible scenery that makes this place so special. The peaceful atmosphere that so many of you know and love is here.
But we need your help.
Losing the busiest part of our season to the wildfires has been incredibly difficult, and these remaining weeks are more important than ever. If you've been thinking about coming to REO this summer, now is the time!
Book a getaway. Invite your friends. Organize a family trip. Bring your co-workers. Share this email with someone who needs a weekend away.
Every booking makes a real difference in helping REO recover from this challenging season.

How to Get to REO
If you're travelling from the north, your usual route through Kamloops and Lytton is open and unaffected. If you're travelling from Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, or anywhere south, Highway 1 between Hope and Boston Bar remains closed while crews repair sections of the highway and damaged power lines.
The good news is there are two beautiful alternate routes to REO.
We've driven both routes several times this week, and they're in great condition. Even if your GPS says otherwise, you can drive through Lytton to Boston Bar and continue to REO. If you happen to encounter a checkpoint, simply let them know you're travelling to Boston Bar or REO Resort.
To make the drive even easier, we've created two detailed Scenic Route Guides complete with maps, suggested stops, viewpoints, cafés, and places to stretch your legs along the way. The guides are packed with hidden gems, making the journey to REO part of the adventure.
