Root Down and Reflect Yoga Retreat
September 11-14, 2026

Retreat Details
As autumn arrives, you’re invited to slow down and align with the rhythm of the natural world. Like the trees preparing for winter, this is a season for turning inward—grounding your energy and gently releasing what is no longer needed. Root Down and Reflect is a 3-night retreat set alongside the beautiful Nahatlatch River. Guests will have the option to enjoy daily yoga classes, workshops, and other outdoor activities along with nourishing meals and glamping tents that offer both comfort and a close connection to the land.
Mornings will begin with flow yoga for grounding, connecting to our bodies, and letting go of the passing cycle. Midday, we’ll come together for movement and storytelling workshops, while evenings will be devoted to yin and deep rest, allowing space for integration and stillness.
There will also be time to enjoy the surrounding landscape by either visiting a nearby lake, meditating at a scenic viewpoint, joining a guided hike, or simply unwinding in the hot tub or by the campfire under the open sky.
Featured Workshops:
Story Harvesting—forest bath and circle to reflect on the past season, uncover meaning, and honour both the highlights and the lessons that have shaped your growth.
Writing the Body—a somatic movement and journaling practice centered on listening to the body and giving form to the stories held within, turning inner experience into something tangible.
Taylor Iverson
Originally from the shores of Lake of the Woods in Northwestern Ontario, Taylor grew up immersed in the natural world—an influence that continues to shape her teaching today. Her journey through yoga and the healing arts has taken her across four continents, completing over 1,000 hours of teacher training in a variety of styles. With a degree in creative writing, an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coach Certification, and ongoing studies toward a Yoga Therapy Diploma, Taylor brings an integrative approach into her work. Her teaching is trauma-informed and emphasizes exploration over perfection, inviting students to attune to their body’s own story rather than a perfect shape.
