REO Rafting & Yoga Resort
Reservations & Deposits
• All promotional sale rates require a reservation requested by the dates specified.• After all parties in the reservation have signed the waiver, a 20% deposit will be automatically collected to complete your reservation.
• If your arrival date is less than 30 days away after all parties in the reservation have signed the waiver, the full balance will be automatically collected to complete your reservation.
• Once a deposit/payment is made, you are agreeing to all terms, conditions, & policies.
Paying Your Balance
• The balance of your reservation is due 30 days prior to your reservation arrival date and will be automatically collected from the credit card on file.• If you would like to use a difference credit card to pay the balance, please follow the steps in the reminder email that is sent 37 days prior to your reservation arrival date. This will give you 7 days to complete the payment with your new card.
• Alternatively, please call us at 1-800-736-7238 and we can process your new card over the phone.
Date Changes & Transfers
• Your payments can be transferred to a Gift Certificate valid for 2 years and could be gifted another person if you prefer.• Date changes in the same calendar year are permitted (no fees).
Exclusions: If you received a promotional rate to arrive within a certain date range and would like to change your dates outside of this range, you will be charged the difference between the promotional rate and regular rate.
Cancellation Policies
• Cancel 30 or more days prior to trip: 100% credit voucher for deposits made, no refunds.• Cancel less than 30 days: no credit voucher for deposits made, no refunds
• For medical emergencies please contact us with information for a possible exception.
• Gift certificates are final sale and non-refundable.
• You can transfer your gift certificate to another participant if you are unable to use it.
→ Deposits made before September 15, 2022: Credit vouchers are no longer valid. Deposits are non-refundable.
→ Deposits made after September 15, 2023: Credit vouchers valid until August 1st, 2026
→ Deposits made after September 15, 2024: Credit vouchers valid until August 1st, 2027
→ Deposits made after October 1, 2025: Credit vouchers valid until August 1st, 2028
Check-in & Late Arrivals
• The check-in times for rafting day trips are 9:00am and 1:00pm.• The check-in times for 1-night stays are 1:00pm or 4:00pm.
• The check-in time for overnight stays of 2 nights or more is 4:00pm.
→ Please review your invoice for your arrival time.
* Our Guest Services Centre is closed at 7:00pm on Friday and 6:30pm all other days of the week. If you arrive later than 7:00pm you may be subject to a late fee of $25 per person.
Trip Minimums
There is a minimum number of guests who are needed to run any of our trips/activities. In the unlikely event that you book on a date where the minimum number of attendees is not met, you may be asked to change your date, choose another activity, or receive a 100% credit voucher for any payments made.Trip Requirements
In order to safely guide/provide activities/services, there are requirements in place that are followed by REO employees and all participants in activities and/or services provided by REO Rafting LTD.These requirements include but are not limited to:
- Safe environmental conditions (river water levels, obstructing hazards, road conditions, etc.)
- Personal weight does not exceed the capacity of our gear
- Good fitness and physical capabilities
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- NO consumption of prohibited substances 8 hours before or during a scheduled activity (alcohol, drugs, vapes)
- Well-being and safety of our guides/employees can be upheld
*Any harassment or negative comments made to our guides/employees will not be tolerated.
If we determine that these requirements cannot be upheld, we remain the right to remove you from or completely cancel an activity/service. In the event that this occurs, your payments are non-refundable. You may be offered to change your date, choose another one of our activities, or receive a 100% credit voucher for any payments made.
Gratuities
At REO Rafting & Yoga Resort, our team genuinely cares about making every guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported during their stay. We love creating memorable experiences and are grateful when our efforts are recognized through gratuities, which can be given directly to staff or made at our Guest Services Centre. Please note, a 10% gratuity will automatically be applied to any bookings with 10–19 guests, and a 15% gratuity will be applied to any bookings with more than 20 guests.Release of Liability (Waiver):
By requesting a reservation and paying the booking fee, all participants on this reservation agree to the below release of liability (waiver).RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS,

(hereinafter the “Release Agreement”)
BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, SUCH AS THE RIGHT TO SUE FOR NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY APPLICABLE OCCUPIERS’ LIABILITY LEGISLATION OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT.

PLEASE REVIEW AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH TRIP DETAILS AND CANCELLATION POLICIES ON OUR WEBSITE AT WWW.REORAFTING.COM PRIOR TO COMPLETING AND SIGNING THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT.
TO: REO RAFTING LTD., Nahatlatch Rafting, Kayaking and Adventure Resort Ltd., River’s Edge Cabins, Barb Helme, and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, instructors, guides, contractors, subcontractors, sponsors, successors, and assigns (hereinafter referred to collectively as "the Companies").
DEFINITION
The term "Adventure Activities and Services" applies to all activities, events, and services provided, arranged, organized, sponsored, or authorized by the Companies, including but not limited to: whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, hiking, trail walking, stand-up paddleboarding, cliff jumping, swimming, scrambling and climbing, yoga, archery, rock rappelling, camping, glamping, dining, volleyball, campfire entertainment, massage, and use of safety equipment such as personal flotation devices, helmets, and wetsuits. It also includes all transportation and travel to and from activity locations, use of resort accommodations, hot tub, sauna, pool, cold water facilities, and any related activities.
TRAVEL BY VEHICLE, OTHER FORMS OF LAND TRANSPORTATION OR AIRCRAFT
I acknowledge that the Companies have no control over transportation carriers or road maintenance and cannot guarantee travel schedules, which may be altered or affected by various circumstances. The Companies will not be liable for any change of travel schedule due to weather conditions or for any delayed or missed trip due to cancelled or delayed travel, including for any additional fees which may be incurred by me or for any special, incidental or consequential damages or losses arising from any of the foregoing. Weather conditions can change rapidly and without warning, making travel hazardous. Communication in remote areas may be difficult, and in the event of an accident, rescue and medical treatment may not be available.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT – RIVER TRAVEL SAFETY
I acknowledge that I have been advised to wear appropriate safety gear for designated activities, including but not limited to helmets, personal flotation devices (PFDs), harnesses, wetsuits, and protective clothing as instructed by the companies. I understand that safety gear is provided for specific activities such as rafting, kayaking, tubing, climbing, rock rappelling, and other high-risk outdoor pursuits. I acknowledge that instructions regarding the proper use of safety gear will be provided and that it is my responsibility to follow these instructions to minimize risk. I understand that failure to wear or properly use safety gear may increase the risk of injury or death. I further acknowledge that participating in activities under the influence of non-prescription drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited, as it may compromise my safety and that of others.
ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
I am aware that participation in Adventure Activities and Services, including but not limited to river rafting, tubing, kayaking, paddleboarding, volleyball, hiking, rock rappelling, swimming, climbing, yoga, massage, archery, campfire entertainment, the use of the hot tub, sauna, pool, cold water facilities, food and beverage service, camping, glamping, or other services and activities, involves many risks, dangers and hazards including but not limited to: water-related hazards such as capsizing, hitting rocks, being thrown from a raft, encountering strong currents, and unexpected waves; land-based hazards including slips, trips, and falls on wet or uneven surfaces, loss of footing on steep or rocky trails, falling down stairs, or injuries from unstable terrain; transportation risks associated with vehicle travel to and from activity sites, including sudden stops, collisions, and mechanical failures; environmental exposure to changing weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, wind, and lightning, which may lead to dehydration, hypothermia, or sunburn; wildlife encounters including potential risks from insects, rodents, bears, or other animals; equipment-related risks such as malfunction, improper use, or unexpected failure of safety gear, rafts, paddles, or harnesses; physical exertion risks that may cause fatigue, dizziness, muscle strain, sprains, or other physical injuries; remote location risks, including travel in remote wilderness locations where assistance, medical and first aid services, and evacuation may not be readily available, and communication may be difficult or not be possible; accidents during transportation to and from the river or remote areas; watercraft risks including the overturning or upsetting of rafts, kayaks, canoes, tubes, or other watercraft; sudden, violent, and unexpected movement of watercraft; entrapment by trees, logs, rocks, or equipment; drowning; hypothermia due to exposure to cold water; falling from watercraft into long sections of continuous rapids; impact or collision with rocks, trees, logs, deadfall, watercraft, or raft equipment; encounters with domestic or wild animals, including bears; high winds, rock or mud slides, and large waves that may increase the dangers of participation; additional land-based risks such as accidents involving hiking, walking on slippery surfaces, climbing, and backcountry travel; participants may become lost or separated from their guide or party. Communication on the river and in wilderness locations is difficult, and in the event of an accident, rescue and medical treatment may not be available; miscellaneous health risks including over-exposure to water, the sun, insect bites, fatigue, stress, dehydration, exertion, and lack of fitness; infectious diseases contracted through viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi, which may be transmitted through direct or indirect contact; negligent first aid and negligence of other participants. I am also aware that participating in Adventure Activities and Services involves many risks, dangers, and hazards beyond those listed above. I understand there is also a risk of NEGLIGENCE on the part of the Companies, including failure to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect me from risks associated with Adventure Activities and Services.
I am also aware that there is a risk of NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE COMPANIES. I UNDERSTAND THAT NEGLIGENCE INCLUDES FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE COMPANIES TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM OR WARN ME OF THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS OF PARTICIPATING IN ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES. I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR LOSS RESULTING THEREFROM.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
In consideration of the Companies agreeing to my participation in Adventure Activities and Services and permitting my use of their equipment, vehicles, parking, and other facilities, I hereby agree as follows:
1.TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or may in the future have against the Companies AND TO RELEASE THE COMPANIES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense, or injury, including death, that I may suffer, or that my next of kin may suffer, as a result of my participation in Adventure Activities and Services DUE TO ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER ANY APPLICABLE OCCUPIER’S LIABILITY LEGISLATION, ON THE PART OF THE COMPANIES. I UNDERSTAND THAT NEGLIGENCE INCLUDES FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE COMPANIES TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM OR WARN ME OF THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS OF PARTICIPATING IN ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES;
2. TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE COMPANIES from any and all liability for property damage or personal injury to any third party resulting from my participation in Adventure Activities and Services;
3. That this Release Agreement shall be effective and binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns and representatives, in the event of my death or incapacity;
4. This Release Agreement and any rights, duties and obligations between the parties to this Release Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of British Columbia and no other jurisdiction; and
5. Any litigation involving the parties to this Agreement shall be brought solely within British Columbia and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of British Columbia.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE - I consent to photographs and/or videos taken of me (and any minor children listed above) being used for advertising, promotional or marketing purposes.
I confirm that I have reviewed the information set out by REO Rafting Ltd and I acknowledge that in entering into this Release Agreement I am not relying on any oral or written representations or statements made by the Companies with respect to the safety of participating in Adventure Activities and Services, other than what is set forth in this Release Agreement.
I CONFIRM THAT I HAVE READ THE RELEASE AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
*We reserve the right to modify these terms in the event of emergencies or other circumstances. Any changes made will be applicable to all reservations.
