Join us for a weekend immersed in the forest along the stunning Nahatlatch River in the Fraser Valley.
Unwind with yoga, forest walks, river dips, and hot tub soaks. Gather by the nightly campfire. Feeling adventurous? Opt for rafting or a rejuvenating massage.
This retreat is your invitation to explore the foundational principles of Ayurveda and recognize the qualities that shape the world both around you and within you. Get ready to share stories, connect, explore and giggle. We will get curious and discover how to intuitively support your body's natural balance and learn tips you can bring into your own home for both prevention and intervention. This is a relaxed space for seasoned yogis and never-ever's alike, prioritizing conversation, learning, connection and laughter. Movement classes will prioritize functional movement patterns and biomechanics, weaving in the grounding practices needed during the fall season.
You will also have the chance to book Nicki for a 1:1 Ayurvedic consultation or massage (additional fee).
This unique program weaves in Tantric philosophy, a deep connection to lineage, honours the wisdom of the land and the wisdom of our own intuition.
Retreat Instructor
Nicki McKeon
Nicki (E-RYT200, RYT500, CAP) grew up immersed in the outdoors, spending much of her youth at her family’s wilderness property in Australia. This instilled a lifelong love for and connection with the outdoors.
At 18, Nicki began her career in Outdoor Education. Witnessing the profound impact nature had on her clients ignited a desire to continue sharing this gift. Her travels took her across the globe, teaching programs and forging connections with diverse people, cultures, and landscapes.Yoga, introduced in her teenage years, became a cornerstone practice during her travels.
Nicki recognised the seamless integration between outdoor education and yoga, and how each practice enriched the other. This connection led Nicki to delve deeper, studying her Advanced Diploma in Ayurveda, yoga's sister science about the understanding of our innate connection with nature. Today, she weaves together nature immersions with Ayurvedic lifestyle planning, yoga, nutrition, tantric philosophy and bodywork services.
Nicki's programs prioritize playfulness, community, authenticity, and a deep curiosity for self-discovery, connection with others, and exploration of the world around us.
Now residing in Whistler, BC, with her husband, Nicki continues to utilize the awe-inspiring landscapes of British Columbia to craft transformative nature-immersed experiences.
