Nahatlatch rafting 8Green River, Lower Canyon

Now featuring two great options: meet at Nairn Falls Provincial Park for our scenic raft adventure or meet in Whistler Village for an all-inclusive raft tour and guided hike to the amazing Nairn Falls with round-trip bus transportation.

The Lower Green River canyon starts off with a series of fun Class 2+ rapids (easy to moderate; Class 3 in high water) and then mellows as we drift and paddle through the lower Green River valley. This trip is rated Class 2+ since the first rapids are exciting, but the majority of the trip is a scenic float with spectacular views of Mt. Currie and the Coastal Mountains. Possible wildlife views include beavers, deer, bears, mergansers, eagles and ravens.

Our all-inclusive package from Whistler Village includes transport to the Park, a 45-minute guided hike to the Falls followed by our rafting tour of the lower Green River. At the falls, the Green River is squeezed through a maze of bedrock, dropping 195 feet (60 meters). The falls, whirlpools and underwater passages are visible from two large viewing areas.

Please note that the initial rapids on the Lower Green can be big Class 3 rapids at higher water levels and we cannot guarantee that you will stay dry! With older and very young guests, we may opt to start 1 km downstream of our regular put-in.

Option A: Meet us at Nairn Falls

Join the REO team for an amazing rafting float tour of the lower Green River canyon. Just a short 25-minute drive from Whistler meet us at the Nairn Falls Provincial Park. Our river guides will give you all your rafting gear and after a brief safety talk and a little paddling practice, we will then embark on our 7 km rafting adventure. The first km features three fun Class 2-3 rapids (we can try to avoid these fun rapids if you wish to stay dry), whereas the rest of the river is a beautiful and relaxing float trip. Standard meet times are 10:30 AM and 2 PM; custom start times available. Our rafting trip on the lower Green is 2.5 hours in length, including one hour 15 minutes on the water.

Option B: Meet us in Whistler Village for Hike & Raft Adventure

We'll pick you up in Whistler at our designated meet spot (groups, we can do custom pick-ups at your hotel) and take you to Nairn Falls Provincial Park for a 45-minute guided hike to the impressive 60-metre Nairn Falls. Then we'll meet up with the rafts and guides, and following a short safety briefing, we'll begin our 7 km rafting trip on the lower Green. We will enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Currie and the Coastal Mountains. Possible wildlife views include beavers, deer, bears, mergansers, eagles and ravens. 1 PM standard meet time in Whistler; custom start times available. Total trip time is 4.5 hours with approximately 2 hours 15 minutes on the water and trails.
