Join the REO team for a fun and engaging stand-up paddleboard lesson and tour of beautiful Alpha lake.

This is the “warmest” and most intimate of the Whistler lakes and our tour covers all the lake’s nooks, crannies and islands (up to 3 km or 2 miles of paddling, depending on interests).

We provide instruction on getting on, standing and paddling your own surf board….no previous experience is required.

This tour also includes a kayak tour of Alpha or Nita Lake making this a wonderful soft adventure for the whole family.

Age & Skill Requirements:

This soft adventure is suitable for ages 7 and older. Perfect for anyone interested in a fun, but not too challenging, outdoor experience. Children under 10 may need to go with a parent or the instructor.

What to Bring:

Wear a swimsuit and/or appropriate clothing for the existing weather conditions. A jacket that can get wet is ideal for cooler or cloudy days. Wear tennis shoes, sandals, or other footwear that can get wet (or you can go barefoot).

What’s Included:

Paddleboard instruction with a friendly and knowledgeable guide, all equipment and lifejacket (mandatory to wear), optional kayak tour of Alpha Lake.

Departure Times:

Daily at 10 am, 2 pm & 5 pm all summer. Each paddleboard lesson and tour package is 2 hours in length. The optional kayak tour is up to 1 hour in length. Please meet at Nita lake Lodge 10 minutes prior to departure. Call for custom start trips.
