These boats are fun and easy to maneuver. Inflatable kayaks are the ultimate crafts for an exhilarating day of paddling on the river.

We paddle state-of-the-art inflatable kayaks….these are way more comfortable, more sporty, and more fun to paddle than either a canoe or a hard-shell kayak.

Meet us at Rainbow Park on Alta Lake (10-15 minute drive from the Village). After a short instruction and safety talk on Alta Lake, we’ll then paddle to the start of the intimate River of Golden Dreams. Kayak options include single or tandem.

Upon finish we will transport you back to your vehicle at Rainbow Park. Total trip time is 3 hours (average) and varies with river levels.
 

Age & Skill Requirements:

This easy to moderate paddling adventure is suitable for ages 7 and older. Children under 12 should ride/paddle in a tandem kayak with parent or older sibling. This trip is ideal for all ages. Lifejackets are mandatory at all times. No previous paddling experience is required.

What to Bring:

Wear a swimsuit and/or appropriate clothing for the existing weather conditions. A jacket that can get wet is ideal for cooler or cloudy days. Wear tennis shoes, sandals, or other footwear that can get wet (footwear must lace up or be secure; no flip-flops). We offer wetsuit bootie rentals for $4/pair.

What’s Included:

We provide all kayaking and safety equipment, a certified REO guide, and a thorough safety talk prior to departure.

Departure Times:

Daily at 10 AM & 11:30 AM all summer. Please meet at Rainbow park 10 minutes prior to departure. We can also arrange custom start times for groups of 8+ and afternoon departures. Each tour is 3 hours in length, though times may vary due to river conditions.

Rates & Payment

Family rate per person for direct bookings of 3 or more people with at least one youth 7-17 years for every 1-2 adults. Reserve online with credit card or call 1-800-736-7238. HST and Land & Water Access fees added to all trips.
