All rafting Daytrips include personal safety equipment (helmet, lifejacket, wetsuit), one professional guide for every 7 guests, and safety kayak support depending on water levels and river difficulty. All Daytrips include a delicious lunch, beverages, and river snacks. Daytrip guests at the Nahatlatch have limited use of resort amenities due to check out times. Rafting Daytrips usually run between 4 and 5 hours in length. River levels do play a role in the length of time on the river as does the weather. On cooler days, we limit the amount of downtime on shore and our meal breaks. Some trips, such as the Thompson, cover 35 Km and have many miles of quiet floating. Others, like the Nahatlatch Classic, are shorter and more intense. At high water levels, we will do two, sometimes three, runs of the Nahatlatch in 4 hours. At low water in early September, one run may take 5 hours.
