Work Exchange Program

Looking to plan a rafting trip in 2010 but also trying to save money?  REO Rafting has a few construction projects on the go this spring and is looking for help from skilled trades people (carpenters, framers, plumbers, electricians, gas fitters).  If you are a skilled trades person then you may be eligible to come up to work for a weekend (or other days) in exchange for credit towards a rafting vacation.

Arrive Friday evening or early Saturday AM.  Start work around 8:30 AM on Saturday.  Work all day (8 to 10 hrs) on Saturday and a full or half day on Sunday.

Hourly rate credit towards rafting -
  • We provide all meals & beverages (non alcohol) - $25 per hour credit towards rafting vacation (rates subject to experience) + fuel and mileage credit if applicable
  • You provide meals & beverages - $30 per hour credit (bring your own food; limited kitchen access - April-May 15) + fuel and mileage credit if applicable
  • A $5 per hour credit for fuel and mileage is added to your total if you drive our personal vehicle to REO. For example, 12 hours worked X $5 = $60.
Also includes -
  • Shared cabin tent accommodation with beds (based on availability); you must bring your own sleeping bag
  • Full use of the resort facilities and amenities
